William “Buddy” Mays, 88, of Cherry Valley, AR passed away January 7, 2015.
He was a faithful member of the Cherry Valley Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Mays; 2 daughters, Brenda Mays and Helen Shadell; Brother, Junior Mays; sisters, Margie Moore and Pauline Smith; Parents, Enos and Lillian Mays; and 2 granddaughters, Tonya Andrews and Donisha Mays.
He is survived by 4 sons, Billy Mays (Patsy) of Cherry Valley, AR, Jimmy Mays (Mary) of Cherry Valley, AR, Donnie Mays of Hickory Ridge, AR, Mark Mays (Catherine) of Conway, AR; 3 daughters, Sharon Stephens of Hickory Ridge, AR, Judy Swaite of Cherry Valley, AR, Debbie Pierce (Rickey) of Cherry Valley, AR; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carolyn Anderson (Ed) of Cherry Valley, AR, Evelyn Hodge (Bobby Joe) of Cherry Valley, AR; 1 step-sister, Marylin Moore of Searcy, AR; 2 brothers, Walter Mays (Willodene) of Vanndale, AR, and Rodger Mays of Harrisburg, AR.
