When John Albert grabher was born on November 8, 1868, in Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, his father, Joseph, was 35 and his mother, Theresia, was 28. He had three sons and three daughters with Emerelia Emma Isenman. He died on January 25, 1933, in Oppelo, Arkansas, at the age of 64.
