Mr. Henry Ellson Clegg died on August 16, 2016, in Wynne, Arkansas. He was 79.Mr. Clegg was born on September 20, 1936 in Wynne, Arkansas, to James Houston Clegg and Opal Elizabeth Spencer Clegg.
He served his country in the U. S. Navy, serving on the USS Des Moines, 6th Fleet Artillery. Henry married Martha Jo Green. Henry was a car and mobile home salesman. He was a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church.
Henry is survived by his children, Michael Ellson Clegg and Martha Elaine Pervin, sisters, Margaret Watlington, Flora Ann Watlington, and Kathy Baskins, four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jo Clegg and parents, Houston and Opal Clegg.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 10 AM until 11 AM at Kernodle Funeral Home with services following at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery at Birdeye.
