Robert George Branch, 95, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. Robert was born on January 15, 1921, in Addison, Michigan to the late Horace and Julia Ethel (Loomis) Branch. Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he obtained the rank of Lieutenant. Robert served his country during WWII in Japan. Robert earned a Master's of Science degree and was a teacher and a business owner. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, husband, and friend.
Robert is survived by his wife Mary (Hunter) Branch of the home; as well as many extended family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Julia Ethel (Loomis) Branch, and two brothers, Franklin and Rodney Branch.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Coy officiating. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas.
Memorial donations may be made to the Stone County Humane Society, 17379 Highway 9, Mountain View, Arkansas 72560.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
