Obituary:
Mrs. Jimmie Dee Robison, born Frances May Maestri, passed away at home on Sunday, August 21, 2016. She was 95 years old.
There will be a visitation at the McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas, on Tuesday, August 23 from 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist Church in Huntington, Arkansas, on Wednesday, August 24 at 10 am with Frank Grub officiating. Burial will follow at the Huntington Cemetery.
Frances was born to Alice and Fermino Maestri on July 18, 1921 in Heavner, Oklahoma. She grew up in Greenwood, Arkansas, and married Jimmie Dee Robison on September 14, 1941. They moved to Huntington in 1950 and raised their 3 children there. Jimmie Dee died in 2013; they had been married 73 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Dee, her parents, Alice & Fermino, her 3 brothers; Allen, Robert, & Ernest and her 2 sisters, Louise & Grace. She is survived by her son, Jimmie Maurice ( Buddy) Robison of DeQuincy, Louisiana; her daughters; Jane Boddie of New Orleans and Gretchen Maertens of Huntington; her grandchildren, Steven, Alice, Josephine, & Mary Lynn, and her great grandchildren; Katie, Maggie, Conner, Kristen, Lizzie, J. Bennett and a new baby in October . Pallbearers are Buddy Robison, Jack Maertens, Steven Fisk, Steve Bunce, Lynn Boddie and Fred Romo. Mama, Granny, Neighbor, and Sunday School Teacher
