Patsy R. "Pat" Darr, of Greenwood, Arkansas; formerly a resident of Mansfield, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2013. She was 78 years old. Pat was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillie Mae (Curtis) Minor. homemaker/mother/grandmother/substitute teacher at Mansfield, and dear friend.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband: Rev. Johnnie Darr; 1 infant daughter: Sherri Jill Darr; and 3 sisters: Lotha cooper, Jimmie McElhaney, and Imogene Davis.
She is survived by 4 children: Phillip Darr and his wife: Kelley; Lt. Gov. Mark Darr and his wife: Kim, Carol (Darr) Buchanan and her husband: Robert; and Karen (Darr) Morris and her husband: Mark; 1 sister: Clara Mae Dow, 8 precious grandchildren; other relatives; and many, many dear friends.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Brotherton Funeral Home chapel in Charleston, Arkansas.
Rev. Joe Bagwell and Rev. james Jones officiated the services.
Pallbearers were her nephews and great-nephews.
