Harold B Conner, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born March 24, 1935 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Monroe Conner and Cora Ann Conner. He was 82 years old. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Genave (Teague) Conner.

Harold was a retired carpenter. He was an U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, and he was a member of Riverdale Free Will Baptist Church. Harold was an avid fisherman and he loved to help his family and friends whenever he could. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25th, at Brotherton Funeral Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Richard Shotzman and Rev. Joe Hobbs officiating the service. Burial, with masonic rites, will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Hutchins) Conner; three daughters, Teresa Little and husband Sam of Subiaco, Gena Hice and husband Charley of Charleston, and Darlene McCormick and husband Billy of Charleston; three sons, Cary Conner and wife Catherine of Charleston, Dean Conner of Charleston, and Tim Conner and wife Brenda of Illinois; four step-children, Allen, Travis, Dee, and Leesa; one sister, Wilma Daniels of Star City, Arkansas; two brothers, his twin brother, Carold Conner of Texas and Roger Conner of Star City, Arkansas; (15) grandchildren and (11) great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Little, Michael Conner, Little Dean Conner, Timmy Conner, Alisha Neissl, Michelle Pound, and Allen Underwood.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Waterbury, Benny Rausch, Roy Davis, and members of Charleston Lodge #155.

Barbara Genave Conner resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009, at the Peachtree Palliative Care Unit in Fort Smith. She was born September 29, 1939 in Franklin County near Charleston to the late Clifton Oleaver Teague and Katie Ann (Lee) Teague. She was 70 years old.

She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion.

She is also preceded in death by five brothers, Donald, Grady, Denver, Burl and Rayburn Teague.

Funeral service was at the First Baptist Church in Ratcliff, with Rev. Richard Shotzman and Rev. Carroll Squires officiating. Interment was at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Conner, of the home; three daughters, Teresa Little & husband Sam, of Charleston, Gena Conner of Charleston and Darlene McCormick & husband Billy, of Charleston; two sons, Cary Conner & wife Catherine, of Charleston and Dean Conner of Charleston; one step-son, Tim Conner & wife Brenda, of Illinois; two brothers, Benny & Clint Teague, both of Charleston; (15) grandchildren and (17) great grandchildren.

Pall Bearers were Michael, Dean, & Connie Conner, Jason Little, Alisha Neissl, and Allen & Joshua Teague.
