Carolyn Arnold, 73, of Fort Smith died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, in a local nursing home.
She was born in Charleston.
She was a former bookkeeper for Terminix and was the secretary/bookkeeper for Arnold Machine Co. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of Arkansas Retired Military Association and Vista Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Gene Arnold Sr.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Padur of Graham, Wash.; one son, Gene Arnold Jr. of Fort Smith; one brother, Jim Shaver of Charleston; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several step grandchildren.
