Bruck, Father Raymond Our brother and fellow priest, Father Raymond Edward Bruck entered eternal life today. Father Bruck was born in Perry, Arkansas on January 19, 1929, the son of Joseph R. Bruck and Mary H. Rump. He is survived by a sister Dorothy and numerous nieces and nephews in Arkansas. Father Bruck served the parishes of St. James, Grand Rapids; St. Thomas the Apostle, Grand Rapids, the Missions of St. Francis de Sales in Lakeview and St. Appolonia in Morley. He was the founding pastor of Christ the King Parish in Howard City. He was elected Dean of the Big Rapids Deanery in June 1972. He was incardinated into the Diocese of Grand Rapids by Bishop Breitenbeck on July 24, 1972. He was pastor of St. Ann-St. Ignatius parishes in Baldwin; St. Bartholomew Parish and Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Grant. He was appointed Director of Priestly Vocations and Associate Director of the Christopher House in July 1992. On March 1, 1998, Father Bruck assumed senior priest status. During his senior priest status, he was appointed Administrator and Sacramental Minister at St. Joseph Parish in White Cloud on March 27, 1998; appointed to the Diocesan Pastoral Service Planning Group on July 15, 1999; appointed Administrator Pro Tem of St. Philip Neri Parish and Mission of St. Anne in Paris; appointed Administrator Pro Tem of Christ the King in Howard City and St. Francis de Sales in Lakeview on November 20, 2002. Father Bruck returned to full senior priest status on June 30, 2004. Funeral arrangements for Father Bruck are as follows: Visitation: Christ the King Church in Howard City on Sunday, July 23 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m.Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 9596 N. Reed Rd., Howard City, with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.Interment at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Adona, Arkansas.
