Michael Gene Rogers, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born August 30, 1961 in Ozark, Arkansas to Bobby Gene & Patricia Ann Haney Rogers. He was 51 years old.Mike was the video technician for the Charleston Tigers Athletic Department for the past 15 years. He served in the US Army National Guard & was a member of First Baptist Church in Branch.He is survived by his parents, Bob & Ann Rogers of Charleston; 1 brother, Billy Rogers of Charleston; 1 niece, Lindsey Inklebarger & husband Gary of Scranton; 1 nephew, Bobby Rogers of Charleston; 1 step-nephew, Layton Walker of Paris; 1 great-niece & 2 great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Ross, Gary Inklebarger, Doug Loughridge, Shane Storey, Jeff Stubblefield, Randy Terry, Bryan Smith & B J Ross.
Honorary pallbearers will be Boyd Gipson, Idus Gipson, John Classen, Duane Schmalz, Richard Rios, Derek Nietert, Jody Mason, & Ted Parker.
