John Robert "Herb" Mars, 62, of Paris died Saturday, July 8, 2000, in Fort Smith. He was a salesman for Wal-Mart and a member of the Presbyterian Church.He is survived by his wife, Alice Yvonne Allen Mars; 2 daughters, Penny Lee Mars of Longview, Texas and Kimberly Ranee Holtzclaw of Paris; 3 sons, Mark Howard Mars of Peru, Indiana, and James Monroe Holtzclaw and Jesse Eugene Holtzclaw, both of Paris; 1 sister, Patricia Ann Cotton of Magazine; and 5 grand- children.
Pallbearers will be John Cotton, Ray Case, David Engl, Bently Allen, Travis Gentry and Chad Higgens.
