Chequita Ann Boyd Cromer, age 75, of Petit Jean passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015. She was born September 29, 1939, in Kennett, Missouri, a daughter of Joe Boyd and Pearl Marshall Boyd. She was a retired Secretary after 18 years from St. Anthony's Hospital and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Glen A. Cromer of Petit Jean; daughter, Renita Lynn Bottoms and husband Daniel of Benton; three grandchildren, Sarah Bottoms, Matthew Bottoms and Paula Ashworth and husband Jason; and two great grandchildren, Kyle and Nathaniel Ashworth; sister in law, Virginia Boyd; nephews, Joey Boyd, Steve Boyd and wife, Judith; niece, Brenda Byler and husband, Tim; numerous great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, at the Petit Jean Cemetery with Dr. Bill Brown officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
