Maude Eva Freeman, 89, homemaker, died Monday of kidney disease in Wynne. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kernodle Funeral Home of Wynne (Ark.) with burial in Bay Village (Ark.) Cemetery. She had lived in Cross County since 1936. Mrs. Freeman, the widow of James Newton Freeman, leaves two daughters, Vera Woods of Heber Springs and Vida Bobbye Holland of Memphis, three sons, James Freeman Jr. of Cherry Valley, and Alfred Freeman and Orville Freeman, both of West Helena (Ark), 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. The family request any memorials be sent to a charity or church of the donors choice.
