Billy "Bill" Robert Capps, 88, of Walnut Ridge, died Oct. 9, 2014, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab.
Born Jan. 31, 1926, in Kennett, Mo., he was the son of James Harrison and Lillie Wilson Capps.
He lived most of his life in Lawrence County and was of the Assembly of God belief. He was a dental lab assistant in Walnut Ridge and Little Rock and a farm worker.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and two half-sisters.
Survivors include a son, Rob Capps, Fort Meyers, Fla.; and a sister, Mardell Goodman, Hoxie.
Graveside service was Saturday at 10 a.m. at Old Military Cemetery at Sedgwick with Marion Stringer officiating. Cox Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
