John DeWayne Bradley, 65, of Walnut Ridge, AR., passed away Monday, September 16, 2013, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Born February 15, 1948, in Walnut Ridge, AR., son of James (Jim) Floyd and Ida Ross Bradley.

He was a Vietnam veteran, a plant manager for a clothing company, worked at Employment Security, and owned and operated an antique store named the Whistle Stop. He was of the Baptist belief and loved gardening and antiquing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Nellie Hendon, Ruby Staton, Mary Jo Bradley, Virginia Michael and a twin sister, Judy Linebaugh; and one brother, J.F. Bradley.

He was united in marriage to Joan Lamb September 9, 1983.

Survivors include a wife, Joan Bradley of the home; one sister, Barbara Hackworth of Hoxie; one brother, Larry Bradley of Jonesboro; special grandchildren, Hannah and Shayla Coats of Hoxie; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Burial was in Old Military Cemetery, Sedgwick, AR. with Bryan Funeral Home was in charge.
