Myrtle (Prock) Bass the wife of Virgil Leonard Bass. Myrtle (Prock) Bass the daughter of Susie M. Chambers Prock.
Myrtle Bass, 89, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Monday, February 4, 2008.
She was a nurse's aide at a nursing home in Jonesboro and of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include two sons, Lavelle Bass and Winford Bass, both of Fontaine; a daughter, Barbara South of Sedgwick; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Interment was in the Old Military Cemetery near Sedgwick under the direction of the Bryan Funeral Home.
