Richard Kent Moffet, 84, of Paris died Monday, March 21, 2016, in Paris. He was born May 23, 1931, in Paris. He worked as a truck driver for Tyson Foods Inc and he was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Paris. He is survived by his wife, Imogene Lovelace Moffet; a daughter, Linda Parsons of Caulksville; 5 sons, Marvin Moffet of Caulksville, Jimmy Moffet of Cox Valley, Tim Moffet of Scranton, Mike Moffet of Paris and Steve Moffet of Arlington, Texas; 13 grand- children; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Marvin, Jimmy, Tim and Mike Moffet, Chuck Parsons and Cecil Lovelace.
