Joan Worley, 62, of Fort Smith, died Tuesday, October 19 at a Fort Smith hospital. She was born February 2, 1948 to Bruce & Eileen Worley in Paris, Arkansas, was a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, Russellville, and was a medical technologist for Sparks RMC. She attended St Boniface Catholic Church of Fort Smith.
Joan is survived by 1 aunt, Verna Binz of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 4 cousins, Jeanette Geesing of Oregon, Sherry Hunt, Elaine Manus and Larry Binz, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with many close special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Eileen Worley to which Joan was a loving and caring daughter. A graveside committal of ashes will be 3:00 p m Monday, October 25, at the Baxley Cemetery, Paris, Arkansas with Deacon Tom Pohlmeier officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be sent to the Mount Magazine Girl Scout Council, St. Benedict Catholic Church, Subiaco Abbey, Subiaco, Arkansas, St Joseph's Catholic Church, Paris, Arkansas, University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, Salvation Army, Fort Smith, or the Donald W Reynolds Cancer Support House, Fort Smith.
