March 11, 1882 - February 4, 1970
Mrs. Betty Jones Pittman, 87, Little Rock, died Wednesday in a Little Rock hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born March 11, 1882, at Preston, the daughter of James David and Sarah Elizabeth Benson Jones. She was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church of Little Rock. She was a member of the Henry G. Bunn UDC Chapter in El Dorado. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Agnes McKelvey, Little Rock and Mrs. Pauline P. Graham, Tulsa, Okla; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock with Dr. Neal Hart officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in El Dorado under the direction of Young's. (El Dorado Times - February 5, 1970)
