DeWitt Talmadge Deeter, age 23, of Morrilton, died in a Little Rock hospital about 8:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 1960.
He was born on Petit Jean Mountain, November 16, 1936, and was a son of Mrs. Edith Deeter and the late Lucian Talmadge Deeter.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Deeter of Morrilton and one daughter, Karen Deeter of Morrilton; his mother Mrs. Edith Deeter of Morrilton; one brother Morton Deeter of Morrilton; one sister, Miss Mary Deeter of Morrilton; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Deether of Petit Jean Mountain.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday at the Morrilton Church of Christ by Everett Evans. Burial was in the Petit Jean Mountain Cemetery by Reed Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Arthur Lee Robertson, Willis Price, John Allen Wear, Murray Murphy, John Newton Eddy and Donald Ashcraft.
