Clarence Elvis “Pat” Rose the husband to Kathryn (Lewis) Rose. Pat the son of James Purkey Rose Sr and Sarah Tennessee (James) Rose. Clarence Elvis “Pat” Rose served his country in the US Army during WWII. Kathryn (Lewis) Rose the daughter of Lalandide and Cora Ethel (Detherow) Lewis.

CAVE CITY — Clarence “Pat” Rose, 88, of Cave City died Saturday at Cave City Nursing Home.
Born at Mobley, he was a World War II veteran and a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Parkey and Sarah Tennessee James Rose.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Lewis Rose of the home; sons, Gary and James Rose; daughter, Kathy Gibbs; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday in Qualls Funeral Home Chapel at Cave City. Burial will follow in Mount View Cemetery east of Cave City.
