Mary Lee Lewallen, 49, of Cave City died July 3, 2004, at her home.

Born March 26, 1955, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Joe and Betty Boley Hix. She was employed by White Rodgers in Batesville and was a member of the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Lewallen of the home; a son, Wendel Lewallen of Cave City; her father, Joe Hix of Batesville; a brother, Ray Hix of Batesville; a sister, Joyce Whitener of Batesville; a grandson, Justin Lewallen of Cave City; four nephews; and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

The funeral was July 6 at Mount View Missionary Baptist Church east of Cave City with Ron Shipley and Jack Meier officiating.

Burial followed in Mount View Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Larry Shaw, Jody Hix, Joey Stout, Sam Crabtree, Thurlow Turner and Mark Brightwell.
