NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Alleene Goodwin, 89, of North Little Rock died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.

Born Feb. 5, 1921, in Cave City, she was the daughter of Willie H. and Elizabeth Clark Mobley.

She and her family moved to California during the Great Depression. She married Everett Goodwin in 1942. She worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal before moving to North Little Rock. She worked at Pike Plaza Economy Drug and in the fabric section at Walmart. She attended North Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dwight Goodwin and Travis Goodwin; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; and her parents.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at North Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery, located east of Cave City on Highway 230.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, located at 1921 Main St. in North Little Rock.
