Everett Lee Loyd, Sr, 72, of Paris died Saturday, September 28, 2002, in Paris. He worked in law enforcement and was Chief of Police for the City of Paris for a number of years and was of the Assembly of God faith. He is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Butler of Springdale and Leanna Ivy Loyd of New Blaine; a son, Everett Loyd, Jr of Paris; a brother, Richard Loyd of California; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Buren Hooper, Eric Lloyd, Charles McClaine, Bill Strobel, Bob Parks and Glen Reames.
