Roger Terrell Caudell, 67 years old, of Morrilton, died Saturday July 8, 2017. He was born in Morrilton, Arkansas on February 26, 1950 and resided in Lawton, Oklahoma most of his life. He is the son of deceased Eldridge Elton Caudell and Iva Dell (Rinehart) Caudell. He retired from the U.S. Army as First Sgt E-8 and received numerous awards for his achievements such as Vietnam Service Medal, Purple Heart and the Silver Star.
Survivors include his fiance'e, Tina Murdock of Lawton, Oklahoma; former wife, Mary Jane Caudell of Conway, Arkansas; one Son, Travis Caudell of Conway, Arkansas; daughter in law, Whitney Caudell and three grandchildren: Ava, Cooper, and Lynley; one brother, Lawrence Caudell of Panama, two sisters: Wanda Caudell of Meridian, Mississippi and Evelyn Conley of Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Elmer Caudell, Lavond Caudell, Harold Caudell, and Jimmy Caudell; and one sister, Katherine Hales.
Visitation will be held at Harris Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 12 in Morrilton, Ark. from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 13 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at Petit Jean Cemetery following the funeral service. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
