August 6, 1928 - February 27, 2000
Lillian Irene Hooper, 71, of Paris died Sunday, February 27, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Paris. She taught the church nursery school class for 48 years. She is survived by her husband, Buran; one daughter, Sandra Bradley of Paris; one son, Roger of Van Buren; 2 sisters, Martha Phillips and Mildred Cleary, both of Paris; and 3 grandchildren, Josh Hooper of Fayetteville and Heath and Heather Bradley, both of Russellville.
Pallbearers were David Rayburn, Wilbur Allio, Tom Freson, Roy S Lloyd, John Ross & E L Jacobs.
Buran
May 28, 1929 - November 15, 2006
Buran Hooper, 77, of Paris died Wednesday, November 15, 2006, in Paris. He was a retired painting contractor and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Paris serving in many needed positions in the church for many years. Preceding him in death were his parents, A D and Nora Hewitt Hooper; wife, Irene Phillips Hooper; daughter, Marilyn Gail Hooper; and brothers, Delwin and Bill Hooper.Survivors Daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Carlton Bradley of Paris; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Linda Hooper of Van Buren; very special friend, Neva Spicer of Subiaco; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rob Cope, Drew Davis, Wes Davis, Joe Friddle, E L Jacobs, George Wingo.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Rayburn, Bob Featherston, Bud Jones, Wilbur Allio, Adult Fellowship class.
