John McKeen Hardwicke, 43, died Friday, January 4, 2008 at North Logan Mercy Hospital in Paris after a three year battle with cancer. Born August 20, 1964 in Paris, Arkansas, he was the youngest son of Mort G and Betty L(McKeen)
Hardwicke. He was a life long resident of Logan
County. John was a 1982 graduate of Paris High School and attended Arkansas Tech University. He was employed for 22 years by the State Assessment Coordination Department as a Property Assessment Auditor. John was a member of St
Anthony Catholic Church in Ratcliff, Arkansas and The Knights of Columbus. John was an avid golfer, hunter and outdoorsman. He was a loving husband, father and brother. John was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents,
J W and Ethel (Ray) McKeen, and paternal grandparents, Mort B and Pat (Dandridge) Hardwicke.
John is survived by his wife, Debra (Koenigseder) Hardwicke, son, Mort Deacon
Hardwicke and daughter, Ryleigh Marie Hardwicke, all of the home; brothers, Bob Hardwicke and wife Becky and Bryan Hardwicke and wife Sandra of Paris; sisters, Beth Butler and husband Mickey of New Blaine, Jane Ann Koch and husband
Randy of Paris; in-laws, Bob and Wanda Koenigseder of Scranton; maternal aunt, Melba McKeen of Los Angeles, California; paternal aunt, Betty Hardwicke of Springfield, Missouri; step-father, Eddie Herlein of Cherokee Village,
Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Pallbearers will be Audie Wigger, Jack Murders, Kevin Rucker, Mitchell Lloyd, Glen Spicer, Lee Williams, David Tencleve, Steve Forst.
Honorary Pallbearers: Hunting and golfing buddies.
