Bobby Joe Bennett, 65, of El Paso, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013.
He was born on Friday, Jan. 2, 1948, in Searcy, to the late Joseph W. and Frances Geraldine (Pankey) Bennett.
He enjoyed to pick at his guitar, children, and grandchildren. He lived life to the fullest. He loved music and dancing. He received the Purple Heart and was awarded other medals for his bravery in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked for thirty-five years as a truck driver for Walmart. He was a member of Center Point Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Brock) Bennett; daughters, Dianne Isaacs of Jacksonville, Cindy Copeland (Charles) of Sidon, Belinda Massey (Paul) of Conway, Janice Chamberlain (Keith) of Cave City, Susan White (Rickie) of Cushman, and Frances McElroy (Shawn) of Newport; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Pearce of Sidon; and brothers, Tommy Bennett of Judsonia and James Bennett of Sidon.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Center Point Freewill Baptist Church, with Brother Greig Caswell officiating.
Burial will follow at Grissard Cemetery in El Paso, with Rickie White, Keith Chamberlain, Paul Massey, Charles Copeland, Matthew Brock, Chris "C.J." Geisler, Jr., Shawn Bearden, and Charles Jordan serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.

Patricia Ann Bennett, 74, of Conway, Ark., went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 11, 2018. She was born September 10, 1943 in McCrory, Ark. to the late Frankie and Jewel Brock. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Bennett, her sisters, Stella Metcalf, Helen Massey, Evelyn Cook, Judy Bane, and her brothers; Lonnie and Eddy Brock.
She loved her children and grandchildren, care giving, gardening, sewing, cooking, fishing, music, going to church and lived life to the fullest.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, daughters, Dianne Isaacs, Belinda (Paul) Massey, Janice (Keith) Chamberlain, Susan (Rickie) White, Frances (Shawn) Bearden, her brothers, Walter (Karen) Brock and Paul Brock. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, 650 Central Landing, Conway, Ark., at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Grizzard Cemetery in El Paso, Ark.
