Alice “Lecie” Elizabeth Hassard, granddaughter of Charles Mansfield and Henry Elizabeth O’Neel Scott of Star City, died April 26, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She was 56.
Alice was born in Dallas on June 16, 1958, to William “Bill” Charles and Carolea “Letie” Scott Hassard.
She graduated from Mt. Saint Michaels in Oak Cliff and Texas Womens University in Denton with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She worked in several medical clinics and as a bookkeeper for a chain of retail restaurants.
Alice was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.
She is survived by her father; sisters, Vicki Farber, Christine Hassard and Carolea Hassard; niece, Becky Farber; nephew, Will Farber; and great-niece, Harley Farber.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday, May 11, at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Funeral will be held at 11:30 at O’Neel Cemetery near Star City.
