OBITUARY
Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Johnson Lint, 97, of Shreveport, Louisiana, died Friday June 24, 2011 at the Spring Lake Guest Care Center in Shreveport. Mrs. Lint was a native of Ashley County, AR; a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana since 2002 and a former resident of Bastrop, Louisiana and Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Bonita High School and was the Valedictorian of her class.

She was a registered nurse, a graduate of the Baylor School of Nursing and a veteran of the United States Army Nursing Corp having served during World War II. She was a member of the White Avenue Baptist Church in Bastrop, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Dalton Lint in 1979; her father and step-mother, Jeff and Aura Johnson; her mother, Allie Kidwell Johnson and her half sister, Polly Johnson Calhoun.

She is survived by her niece and care-giver, Statia Neel of Shreveport, Louisiana; a step-daughter, Sondra Green of New Braunfels, Texas; a brother-in-law, Dallas Yates Calhoun III of Shreveport, Louisiana; a nephew, Dallas Yates Calhoun IV of Austin, Texas and the Akers family of Hamburg. A special thank you to her sitters, Ruby & Cynthia.

Graveside services and burial will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the Hamburg Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
