Fred Reames, 72, retired barber of 1303 E. Main St., died unexpectedly about 3 a.m. Wednesday while visiting in Anniston, Ala. A resident of El Dorado for the last 40 years, Mr. Reames was born in Anniston April 10, 1892, the son of Thomas and Malissa Lindsey Reames. He was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Bertie F. Reames; a son, Fred Reames, Jr. of Ft. Sumner, N. M.; five daughters, Mrs. Felton Jackson, Mrs. Herman Chandler, Miss Shirley Reames and Mrs. J. T Barnette, all of El Dorado and Mrs. Tommy Nethercutt of New Orleans; and 14 grandchildren. He leaves also several Nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's.
