Landy Nelson Doyel Jr, of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. He was born August 7, 1945, to Landy and Georgia Doyel, Sr at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey.
He was a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, where he obtained a degree in physics. He then went on to complete officer candidate school in Pensacola, Flprida, where he served as a naval aviator of the US Navy. He was a retired farmer, avid entrepreneur/inventor and loving "Paw Paw" to his two grandsons. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Lee Doyel.
He is survived by a daughter, Andrea Nicole Carlile and husband Cody of Ozark; a son, Landy Nelson Doyel, III of Skiatook, Oklahoma; two sisters, Gerry Sue Coltrane of Ozark and Linda Sherwood of Texas; a brother, David Ray Doyel of Wichita, Kansas; and two grandsons, Triston and Cooper Carlile.
