Steven Randolph Gage, 64 of Ozark, Arkansas died Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Ozark. He was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Ozark, founder of the Hillbilly Foundation, voice of the Ozark Hillbillies for over thirty years on KDYN Radio, an executive committee member of the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement, and he worked in the oil and natural gas industry. Steven was born February 20, 1954 in Ozark to Travis, Sr. and Gelene Cannon Gage. He was preceded in death by his wives, Gail Treat Gage and Janet Zeiler Gage; and his parents.
Steven is survived by two sons, Jeremiah Gage and wife Ginger of Loveland, Colorado, and Dr. Justin Gage and wife Kristen of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two step sons, Alex and Aaron Smith both of Van Buren, Arkansas; two brothers, Travis Gage Jr. and wife Connie of Ozark, Ricky Gage and wife Wanda also of Ozark; two sisters, Mary Gage Woods and husband Mike of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Anna Gage of Ozark; and one grandchild, Wyatt Gage of Loveland, Colorado.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, March 5th at Ozark First Baptist Church Activity Center, 400 West Market Street.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church Ozark with Brother Ben Larimore and Brother Ted Darling officiating and burial at Highland Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
