November 28, 1929 - May 25, 2019

Curtis H. Billins, 89 of Batesville died Saturday, May 25, 2019. He was born November 28, 1929 at Melbourne, Arkansas to Mark and Goldie Lewis Billins. He was a retired Free Will Baptist Minister and a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church. Earlier in his life he had work for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas and owned a Standard Oil Service Station.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Wanda Billins.

Survivors include a brother, Dewey R. Billins (Sue) of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Wanda R. Davis of Batesville; niece, Debra Scheussler; nephews, Bill Billins, Mark Davis and Michael Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Edward Myers and Mark Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeves Cemetery located near Guion.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Mark Davis, Delmas Lane, Reagan Davis, Charles Wolf, Jeff Morris and Roger Brown.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Billins, Michael Davis, Britt Billins, Gary Scheussler and Steve Scheussler.

Wanda Lane Billins age 80 of Batesville died Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born November 15, 1935 at Gid, Arkansas to Ross T. and Estelle Twilley Lane.

She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and was a member of the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church at Mount Pleasant. She loved her church and its people and also loved reading her Bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Curtis Billins of the home; one brother, Delmas Lane of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Gail Page of Batesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Dr. Michael Davis and Mark Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeves Cemetery located near Guion.Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Glen Lane, Jim Davis, Charles Wolfe, Donald Tate, Gary Schuessler and Bill Billins.
