March 15, 1912 - November 22, 1968
Gene William Gilcrease, 56, of 802 N. Mosley St., died Friday morning in a local hospital. He was a retired salesman, a veteran of the World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, and was a Baptist. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen Pritchard Gilcrease of Beaumont, Tex., and Duncan M. Gilcrease of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Elza, Jr. of El Dorado and Miss Louise Gilcrease of Portsmouth, Va. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's. The family will be at 1110 Edmonds St. (El Dorado Times - November 23, 1968)
