Agnes Neva Gage Thomas, earned her wings and went to be with her Savior and family on September 12, 2014. She was born on Christmas Eve 97 years ago in Chidester, AR to Jessie and Eva Gage. She was a retired babysitter to hundreds of children. Her favorite hobby was making quilts for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Thomas; son, Bobby Thomas; sons-in-law, Wallace Jackson and Jack Robertson; and brothers, Jarvis Gage and Chicken Gage.

She is survived by a son, Billy (Nola) Thomas of Camden; daughters, Betty Robertson and Bevely Jackson both of Camden, and Belinda Thomas of Rogers; and daughter-in-law, Roberta Thomas of Little Rock. She had nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special adopted daughter, Melody Johnson and her husband, Randy and children, Richard, Joey, and Ashley.

Services for Mrs. Thomas will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Proctor Chapel, with burial in Red Hill Cemetery in Chidester under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons- Phil Loveless, Scotty Butler, Terry Don Sandage, Lloyd Thomas, Justin Lee, Stacy Ledbetter, Tommy Ledbetter, Leslie Jackson, and Roger Rutherford. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Joey Johnson.
