Bill John Burroughs passed away on December 30, 2011 at the age of 88 at his home in Friendship. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, dedicating his life to Jehovah in 1942.
He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Patricia Bass Burroughs; four sons, Billy Burroughs of Pine Bluff, Clifford Burroughs of Camden, Michael Burroughs of Donaldson, and George "Andy" Burroughs of Friendship; two daughters, Penny Edge of Dothan, Alabama, and Cheryl Osborn of Gurdon; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Caddo Valley on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
