July 8, 1890 - March 10, 1977

Mrs. Grovie Fairchild LaGuin, 86, of Arkadelphia died Thursday at a Clark County hospital. A native of Ouachita County, she was the widow of Lott M. LaGuin and a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia. She is survived by one son, Harley A. Foster of Mobile, Ala.; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Belle LaGuin of Arkadelphia; one step-daughter, Mrs. Wylie C. Joyner of Mobile, Ala.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Murray-Ruggles Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with the Rev. Harold Hensford officiating. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery near Chidester.
