Ronnie Martin Gage, 67, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2009, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
He was born on June 21, 1942, in Camden, Arkansas.
He was the loving and devoted son of the late Joseph Elzia and Marjorie Martin Gage.
He was an Eagle Scout, and he graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1960 and from ASU in 1964. He was a former member of the Arkansas National Guard. He had a degree in business and was a CPA. He had a lifelong enthusiasm for anything automotive and he loved exploring how to enhance a car's performance. He owned The Parts Place auto parts stores for over 20 years. He enjoyed being a home builder for the past nine years and was a member of the Arkansas Home Builders Association. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and the Forum Sunday School Class. His main love was his family, his children, and especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law, John K. Woodruff, III.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Susan Behrens Gage of Little Rock; son, Ronald Martin (Marty) Gage and wife, Justine, of Columbus, Ohio; stepson, Shawn Russell Cranford and wife, Tiffany, of Little Rock; daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Gage Maris and husband, Mahlon, of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Jacob and Gage Maris; two step-grandchildren, Joshua Cranford and Beckham Carleton and was expecting a new grandson in Ohio in January; sister, Dianne Woodruff of Little Rock; nephew, Michael Woodruff of New York; two step-nieces, Julie Wetzel of Indiana and Lisa Woodruff Miyaguchi of Oregon; and many friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Forum Sunday School Class.
Graveside services were at Red Hill Cemetery near Chidester in Ouachita County.
