James Hamrick, Sr., 68, Timbo entered into rest on December 4, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Hamrick was born October 25, 1940 to Thomas Curtis and Margaret Rebecca (Pace) Hamrick in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
He was a firm believer in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Mr. Hamrick was a teacher at the Delta Vocation School.
Mr. Hamrick is survived by one son, James Hamrick, Jr. of Mtn. View, three daughters, Rebecca Hamrick of Fayetteville, Ark., Cynthia Hamrick of Nixa, MO and Vicky Brown of Mtn. View; two brothers, Robert Ray Hamrick of Wichita Falls, TX and Jarry Hamrick of Borger, TX; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Hamrick was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Curtis Hamrick and a brother, Thomas Joseph Hamrick.
A memorial service will be held December 11, 2008. Family and friends will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the residence of James Hamrick, Jr., 1602 Turkey Creek Road and proceed to Turkey Creek Cemetery for the service.
