Albert E. Schanzlin of Camden, Arkansas died January 5, 2018 at the age of 66. He leaves behind his devoted and loving wife, Annette Chambliss Schanzlin and their two sons, Clint and Wade (Angie) of Camden. Albert was born to the late Ernie and Louise Schanzlin in 1951. He attended Harmony Grove High School where he played both basketball and football. Soon after graduation he married Annette, the love of his life and began his life-long career with the railroad. He was an avid hunter and when he wasn’t working, you could find him with his dogs hunting in the woods. Albert loved many and was loved by many. He also loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, above all.
Albert is survived by his wife, children, grandsons Kyle (Jordyn) of San Diego, CA, Kane of Alvord, TX; Great grand-daughter, Emi, whom he cherished, three step-grandchildren, Blake Sparkman, Brooke Sparkman, Cody Sparkman, sister-in-law Christie Smith (Kevin) of Camden; mother-in-law, Mary Beth Chambliss of Camden, He has three surviving siblings: Karl Schanzlin (Janie) of Camden, Brenda Kaunitz (Ralph) of FL and Teresa Higgins (Bill) of FL. Surviving nieces: Raven Penrod, Amber Smith, Karma Herzfeld, Ashlea Jensen, Haley Emerick; Surviving Nephews: Chance Schanzlin, Marc Kaunitz, Chad Kaunitz, Lane Haymond.
Visitation will be at Proctor Funeral Home Monday, January 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 9th at 2:00 pm. at Proctor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery.
