Obituary
Olen Lindsey, 79, of Conway, Arkansas, formerly of Greenbrier, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, August 28, 2011 at UAMS.

He was born in Ames, Oklahoma on August 16, 1932 to the late Minor Vere and Crystal Pearl Lawless Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey was a farmer, a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War and a member of the Robinson and Center church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beulah Beaman all of Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June Shaw Lindsey. Other survivors are three daughters, Jackie Needham and husband Adam of Imboden, Arkansas, Connie Hamilton and husband Mike of Quitman, Arkansas and Diann Flowers and husband Melville of Vilonia, Arkansas; a brother, Roger Lindsey and wife Sandra of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister, Maretta Piatt of Mt. Hope, Kansas; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:00am, in the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel (501)327-7727, with Mr. Ted Knight officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be sons-in-law and grandchildren.
