Charles H. Ingram, 54, of 517 Hawkins St., was shot to death at his home around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning, according to Camden Police. Criminal Investigator Andy McKay said apparently the shooting followed an altercation between Ingram and his brother, Otis Terrell Ingram, 50. The cause of death was reported as a .25 caliber bullet that entered the victim's neck and came out the back of his head. The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at Ouachita hospital, McKay said. He added that there have been no charges filed at this time but an investigation is continuing into the incident. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery in Nevada County under the direction of Proctor's Funeral Home. Mr. Ingram was a Baptist and a disabled veteran. He is survived by his parents, Mr . and Mrs. Grover Ingram of Camden and one brother. (Camden News - September 30, 1974)
