Lynna E. Buffington, 79, of Camden, died Saturday in the Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Mrs. Buffington was born April 21, 1927 in Calhoun County, Arkansas, the daughter of Stewart and Edna McGuire Evans. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and retired from the Farmers Home Administration. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Keown; a brother, Bill Evans; and a sister, Grace Bradshaw. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Kerman Buffington of Camden; son, David Keown and wife, Dianne of Abilene, TX; step-sons Daniel Buffington of Camden, Larry Buffington of Stockton, CA, and Neil Buffington of Flippin, AR; step-daughters, Kim Bell of Harrison and Kyla Reindhard of Fairlawn, OH; two grandchildren, Andrew Keown and wife, Lindsey of Austin, TX and Ginger Keown of Abilene, TX; one great grandchild, Dylan Keown of Austin, TX; five sisters, Mary Beth Chambliss, Lou Ann Moore, and Lola Clemons all of Camden; Maxine Martin of El Dorado, and Joyce Key of Jacksonville, AR; and four brothers, Tommy Evans of Bearden, Wayland Evans of Hampton, Larry Evans and Gary Evans both of Junction City. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church with burial at Salem Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
