ISADOR ENDERLIN was born in 1838 and immigrated from Germany to America in April 1881. They disembarked from Le Harve, France. It has been said that the Enderlin children looked back at the disappearing shoreline for as long as they could see it because their parents told them that they probably would never see their homeland again.

JOSEPH ENDERLIN was born in 1872 in Moernach, Alsace, France/Germany. He immigrated with his parents, Isidor and Maria Anna (Metzger) Enderlin, two sisters and two brothers, and settled on 240 acres of land one mile southwest of Conway in Faulkner County, Arkansas. In 1881, their first year in Faulkner County, Isidore produced two bales of cotton. In that same year, a daughter, Eugenia, was born on September 21 and died on November 12. Another daughter, Theresa, died two years later on August 28, 1883. Their burial places are unknown. Isidor died in 1916, and his wife, Marie, died in 1917. Both were buried in St Joseph Cemetery.
