Sept 27, 1917 - July 5, 1941
Glen Guy Seamans was the son of Pinkney S. Seamans and Zura Mae Brannon. He attended McGehee High School and Arkansas A&M College at Monticello, Arkansas.
Glen entered the Army Quartermaster Corps on 4/15/1941 and received his basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. he was appointed Corporal while in training there but was killed while in training on 7/5/1941.
Corporal Glen Guy Seamans earned the following decorations for his service, albeit brief, during World War II:
Three of Glen's brothers went on to serve in World War II. T.Sgt. Jack B. Seamans was an Army Combat Engineer. T/Sgt. Billie Joshua Seamans and Cpl. Earnest Seamans both served in the Army Air Corps. Jack and Billie served in combat while Earnest was on occupation duty in the Pacific.
