July 23, 1918 - June 28, 1967
Alvin (Buddy) Garner aged 48 of Bearden, died suddenly Wednesday Morning while visiting in Star City. He was the son of the late John and Alice Garner of Bearden. Mr. Garner is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Eva Cranford and Mrs. Ora House of Bearden and Mrs. Lillie Hogue of Ouachita; two brothers, Almon and Charlie Garner, both of Bearden. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Bearden with burial in Moss Hill Cemetery. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce is in charge of arrangements.
