Bearden - Mrs. Alice Frances Garner, aged 84 life long resident of Bearden died Sunday in the Ouachita Hospital following a long illness. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Eva Cranford and Mrs. Ora House of Bearden, Mrs. Lillie Houg of Ouachita; three sons, Almon Garner, Charlie Garner and Alvin Garner all of Bearden; 19 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 in the Bearden Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Moss Cemetery. (Camden News - October 10, 1966)
