Richard Arthur Roundy, 78, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, Oct, 12, 2015, in Castle Rock, CO. He was born December 22, 1936 in Buchanan, MI, to Arthur and Lucille Robinson Roundy. He came to know Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 18. He was married to Joyce Yvonne McBrayer on September 14, 1957 in Pacoima, CA.

He and his wife lived in California until 1987, when they moved to Pea Ridge in Northwest Arkansas. In July, 2015, they moved to Castle Rock, CO (to be near family), following a trip to California to visit grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

During his lifetime he worked for North American Aviation, Hughes Aircraft Company, AMO Electric Supply, and for several years as a self-employed electrician. He retired after having both his knees replaced. He loved to putter, and was able to do most anything he set his mind to do. He was a deacon and long-time member of First Baptist Church of Garfield, Arkansas. He also served for several years as chairman of Trustees for the church.

He is survived by his wife Joyce, of Castle Rock, CO, a daughter, Debbie Garber, of Springfield, IL, two sons, James Roundy and Timothy Roundy (and wife Patty) of Castle Rock, CO, thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 17784 Marshall St., Garfield, AR, on Saturday, October 31, at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 17784 Marshall St., Garfield, AR 72732, for Haiti Mission Project (Dick Roundy Memorial).
