Joe Reeves, 83, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at his home in McGehee, Arkansas.
He was born on September 12, 1931 in Rohwer, AR to the late Willie Idell and Addie Bell Roberts Reeves.
Joe and Pat were married for 54 years. He worked for International Harvester for 30 years before retiring and was self employed for 7 years. He loved to work, deer hunt and build things. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church and loved the Lord and people.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, J.B. Reeves and Early Reeves; sisters Syble Atkins, Dorothy O-Conner, and Hazel Williams; granddaughter, Crystal Knowlton.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Pat” Adams Reeves; sons, Mitchell Reeves and his wife Kim of McGehee, AR and Michael Knowlton of Roswell, NM; sister, Jean Williams of Grapevine, AR; grandchildren, Morgan, Austin, Shiloh, and Heather; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Jude, Harley, Zion, and Elijah. .
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR with Bro. Gene White officiating.
Burial will be held at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, AR.
